also i still maintain that one of my top ten favorite mulder scully moments is in dreamland when he’s trying to convince her that it’s him and he’s talking about the weird diet yogurt she’s been having for lunch because 1) how intimate to have them reference events and characteristics we as an audience don’t have access to…. it’s like this almost painful reminder that we’re just voyeurs in something that exists outside of the time we’re allowed to spend with them 2) how sweet that the only thing mulder can think of are stupid basic details like what she eats for lunch….. u know when u know someone so well and then someone asks “why do you love them?” and you can’t even put it into words because how do u even begin?? YEAH anyway doesn’t get enough credit the r in yogurt stands for romance
