Hi!!! So, Cousy is fabulous as ever and I’m slowly doing the rewatch too))) as a Ukrainian, where our “you”s are pretty strict (formal and informal / polite or friendly) I have a Q: when do you think Phil and Daisy crossed that boundary and their “you”s became of an equal footing. With May it’s a little easier to follow (tho not by much) and FSD were always very free and unconcerned with positions and ages and titles. For Cousy it’s not that smoothly detectable. Thanks4answ!!! To be honest it’s kind of hard to imagine Daisy and Coulson speaking a different language so it’s hard to guess how their thought patterns would be different, but long story short:

We don’t think Daisy would ever use the formal “you” with Coulson. Or with anybody, for that matter. She doesn’t seem to be the kind of person who would use it, just that. And anyway in the fourth episode of the show she was calling him “Phil” all chummy and in the SECOND episode of the show she was teasing him about sex. It doesn’t make sense that she’d use the informal “you” at any point.

But that’s just our take! XD
