not making kara and lena acknowledge their romantic feelings for one another at some point is literally just homophobia. lemme explain. the fact is they’ve become more well known wlw icons than the canon gay couple… to the point where interviewers are constantly questioning about kara and lena’s ‘relationship’ right alongside other core elements of the show… IF the supergirl writers really ARE respecting of the gay community and our wishes (like they claim) they’d give us supercorp. the overwhelmingly popularity of the pairing tbh has more weight than the show itself. the sg writers not giving us supercorp romantically in some capacity is a huge slap in the face. there’s no reason why kara shouldn’t be written with women. she’s a fictional character the only ones keeping her from exploring her sexuality are fake allies aka the sg writers.
