Here are, roughly, all the tidbits we got from Katie and everything she said from interviews. I summarized some of the answers because she was asked many questions multiple times. If anymore get released I’ll reblog and update. 

Dynamics with Other Characters

• If you threw Lena into the Kara/Alex dynamic, it would shake things up because it’s one of Kara’s best friends and Kara’s sister. There’s the notion around her because she’s a Luthor, but also they’re just two people who just care about Kara. (x) (x)
• Katie wants to see how Lena’s relationship with Kara interacts with the rest of Kara’s friends. (x) (x)
• (I didn’t hear the question but it was about Brenda Strong) She doesn’t know if she’s coming back, but she loves working with her and hopes she does. They have a really interesting dynamic. (x)
• She makes an analogy here about Charlie Brown, Lucy, and a football from the Peanuts cartoon. Lena is Charlie, her mother is Lucy and her mother’s love is the football. Where Lena is going to believe every time that her mom really loves her and every time her mom throws the ball away but Lena is going to keep trusting her. 
• Hopes for “Luthor shenanigans” (x)
• On whether she wants Lex to actually appear, she says (in a very Lena way), no because she doesn’t want to “share her time”. (x)
• There’s an event in the season opener that will change how Lena is able to interact with the rest of the cast, but there’s an evolution of how she is able to interact with everyone. (x)
