Listen I 100% understand the reasoning behind Clark giving Kara to the Danvers. He’s a young Earth raised guy, nowhere near ready to be a father, and suddenly he’s got this very strange child who speaks a language he barely knows and now he has to be the one to raise her? I’d probably run too.
But that doesn’t make it burn any less for me when I think about how Kara was ready to raise an infant when she was still a child herself, she was going to come as that child (that he finds as a grown man) and take care of him.
Now that they are exploring multiple worlds I want them to find a world where Kara did raise Kal, where she gave her everything to keep him alive. And I want her to meet Kara and Clark, to hear her confusion when she sees he didn’t care for her. “I traveled across the universe for you,” she’d say in disbelief, “I gave my life to you and you gave me to strangers?” And I want to see the discomfort on literally EVERYONE’s face when they realize there are no easy answers here
hello part of the plot to queen of everything
