how is a character being miserable and in a position she wouldn’t want be a good plot? Why is Melinda suffering the plot you claim she deserves?

why can’t Melinda be someone who brings everyone back together? she’s the only one on the team who has any idea what both Daisy is going through and everyone else, she could easily be someone who brings a group of people together through her love of the people in her life

why can’t her going against the new Director be her plot point?

I’m tired of Melinda May not being able to be happy, I’m tired of her misery and pain being the only things she ever gets to be part of

Melinda May isn’t the strongest she can be when she’s miserable or when she’s punching people, Melinda May is strong when she opens up to people and let’s them in despite her trauma and past experiences
